It wasn’t my favorite because the ending was anticlimactic and the main character didn’t have enough character development for me.

I good book too

An easy summer read! Nice little mystery to it and touches on the Me Too movement which is important.

It’s an odd book with an odd storyline. However my 2 year old felt completely different and we have read this book multiple times daily.

????? / 3.5 stars A story within a story full of intrigue, twists, and thrilling mystery. I was immediately drawn in by the premise of a whodunit set in a library along with the secondary story of an author and superfan correspondence. It was a fast listen with short chapters but the layers upon layers of characterization and plot made it a little hard to follow if you weren't 100% tuned in to the audio. I like to listen while I work and usually have no issue with this but in the case of this book it was difficult to do that because of its complexity. This is one of those stories where I felt like it was almost too clever for me. I may have to go back and do another read in print format to pick up the pieces that I missed listening to the audio. A wild ride that I think many will enjoy but be prepared to pay very close attention to detail.
